The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) are hosting a symposium in Grand Rapids on August 28, 2019 that was designed to enhance the knowledge of those who apply for permits on a professional basis. The seminar titled “Permits and Processes: Working in Michigan Waters” will include an in-depth look at both the Corps and EGLE regulatory programs, permit application and information requirements, as well as a MiWaters tutorial. MiWaters is EGLE’s online database that provides several tools for you to gather permit information, report a spill, or search for information or activity in your area. This will be an all-day event comprised of multiple sessions. For more information and to view the symposium agenda click here. For more information on MiWaters click here. This same training program will be offered again on October 17th in Bay City with location to be announced.
