Boat Owners Association of The United States (BoatUS) has been looking after the interests of recreational boaters since its founding by Richard Schwartz in 1966. We are the nation's largest organization of recreational boat owners, with over half a million dues-paying Members.

We are a well-trained, educated workforce specializing in the unique craft of boating sales and service.
- Lake Erie Marine Trades Association
The Lake Erie Marine Trades Association was formed in 1957 by a handful of boat dealers that sought to organize a large indoor boat show for the Cleveland market. It now includes approximately 100 members that are provided with legislative advocacy, educational support, and efforts to improve boating in Ohio.

The Marine Recreation Association is a non-profit association that represents marina owners, operators and industry professionals throughout the Western U.S., Mexico, Hawaii and Australia. The Association’s mission is to provide a united voice in representing the interests of the boating and marina industries and to help educate and inform in all areas of recreational boating.

- National Marine Manufacturers Association
The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is the nation’s leading trade association representing boat, marine engine and accessory manufacturers. Collectively, NMMA members manufacture an estimated 80 percent of marine products used in North America.

Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association (SWFMIA) is made of a broad range of member businesses with an interest in recreational boating. New Boat & Motor Dealers, Boat Manufacturers, Yacht Brokers, Marina and Service Yards, Marine Service providers of all kinds, Marine Electronics sales and service, Metal Fabricators, Boat Lift Manufacturers and dealers, and many other related businesses.

- Bureau of Reclamation
Established in 1902, the Bureau of Reclamation is best known for the dams, powerplants, and canals it constructed in the 17 western states. These water projects led to homesteading and promoted the economic development of the West. Reclamation has constructed more than 600 dams and reservoirs including Hoover Dam on the Colorado River and Grand Coulee on the Columbia River.

The mission of EPA is to protect human health and the environment. When Congress writes an environmental law, we implement it by writing regulations. Often, we set national standards that states and tribes enforce through their own regulations. If they fail to meet the national standards, we can help them. We also enforce our regulations, and help companies understand the requirements.

As per the Constitution, the U.S. House of Representatives makes and passes federal laws. The House is one of Congress’s two chambers (the other is the U.S. Senate), and part of the federal government’s legislative branch. The number of voting representatives in the House is fixed by law at no more than 435, proportionally representing the population of the 50 states.

Established by the Constitution as one chamber of the federal government’s legislative branch, the United States Senate is comprised of one hundred members—two senators from each of the 50 states—who serve six-year, overlapping terms. Senators, along with members of the House of Representatives, propose, author, and vote on federal legislation that touches upon all aspects of U.S. domestic and foreign policy.
